I have been amazed at how many advisors have taken an interest in the 1% CFA mortgage program that The Wealth Preservation Institute has reviewed.
I imagine the reason comes from the fact that nearly every advisor and their clients have mortgages on their homes and 99.9% of those mortgages are not the 1% mortgage program.
While The Wealth Preservation Institute was created to educate advisors on “advanced” planning topics revolving around asset protection, income and estate tax reduction, I decided to put up some information on this non-advanced topic due to the amazing amount of interest.
The 1% CFA program while simple is not widely known.
Advisors who have clients with any kind of wealth should know how to use this topic to benefit their clients so they can lower their mortgage payments (which will free up dollars to invest for retirement savings).
While the topic is not “advanced,” hopefully by giving some “free” education on the topic, advisors will start to understand the benefits of working with and getting education through The Wealth Preservation Institute.
For a nice multi-page PowerPoint summary of the 1% CFA mortgage and equity harvesting, please e-mail info@thewpi.org.
If you would like the name of the company that brokers out the 1% home mortgage program, please e-mail info@thewpi.org.
FYI, this topic can not only be beneficial for clients, but advsiors who deal with the topic can also make significant ancillary income from being the mortgage broker.
